Family Adventures

Embark on a family adventure at Castle Howard and enjoy a successful day out for all!

Jump on the land-train and go wild down at the Lakeside Adventure Playground.  It features 17 high energy, confidence building pieces of equipment, and is suitable for children of all ages - parents included! 

Catch the boat and set sail across the Great Lake to spot the wildlife living on its shores (summer only - weather permitting) and discover the parkland with our explore the gardens with our new illustrated trail with Geoffrey the Lion.  Inside the House, children can discover more about the stories of Castle Howard with our 'Heads and Tails' quiz sheets; while our guides will be on standby to help them find all the answers.
